Sabinaria magnifica is a solitary fan shape leaves palm endemic to Colombia. in the Department of Chocó, North-western Colombia, between 100 and 250 m. above the sea level.
It typically grows to a height of about 3-6 meters (10-20 feet), making it a relatively small to medium-sized palm. These give the palm it’s majestic and elegant look. The trunk is short, straight and slender, usually covered in fibrous material, with a base that is often swollen.
